FOR THE ATTENTION OF: CONTRACTORS PROVIDING FLU VACCINATION SERVICE
FOR HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE WORKERS
Dear Colleague,
As you will be aware the Community Pharmacy Flu Vaccination
service, for health and social care workers, was launched last week (w/c 28th
Sept).
A dedicated CPNI webpage (available here) has been created on our new website, which will be updated with all relevant correspondence, relating to this year’s Flu Vaccination service.
CPNI has also produced a support training video for service providers which can be assessed on our YouTube channel here.
We hope you find these resources useful and please share them
with your pharmacy team(s) involved in providing this year’s flu service.
If you have any queries in relation to this service, please contact Greg Miller, HSCB Pharmacy Adviser, (email: greg.miller@hscni.net) or alternatively the CPNI office.
Yours sincerely

Dear Colleague,
Zoom Logon Details for CPNI Contractor Meeting at 7:30pm on Tuesday 6th October 2020
A lot has happened since the last
CPNI Contractor Meeting earlier this year in Templepatrick on 24th
February 2020. With the restrictions that came in as a result of COVID in
March, CPNI has supported and kept Contractors informed principally through our
regular COVID ContractorUpdate emails and via our web-site.
The last six months has seen the widespread adoption of online conferencing software to enable face to face interaction and CPNI will host a Contractor meeting using ZOOM software on Tuesday 6th October 2020 at 7.30pm.
Contractors are encouraged to attend
this virtual meeting to receive an update on the Community Pharmacy COVID
experience to date, Community Pharmacy Funding, the challenges the sector will
face over the coming weeks and months and the important role you and your teams
will play in defining patient care and the development of community pharmacy in
2021/22 and beyond.
Logon details for the Contractor
meeting are provided above.
I look forward to seeing you next
week.
Yours sincerely

Dear Colleague,
Communication was sent out by Dr Michael McBride, Chief Medical Officer and Prof Ian Young, Chief Scientific Advisor here on 17th September 2020 which provided up-to-date information available with regard to minimising the risk of COVID-19 outbreaks in healthcare settings.
With the introduction of the Community Pharmacy Flu Vaccination Service or resuming audit visits, you and your pharmacy team(s) may potentially be visiting community settings, such as residential and nursing homes. The PHA have outlined key principles for HSC staff visiting community settings here which you may find useful.
Please share this advice with your pharmacy staff who may be
visiting a community setting to deliver pharmacy services.
Yours sincerely
