Dear colleague,

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, CPNI has engaged with political representatives to keep them informed of Community Pharmacy’s critical role in response to the pandemic.

This political engagement can be further strengthened at a local level, and I would ask you to please support CPNI’s public affairs activity and share the attached Community Pharmacy Briefing Paper: COVID-19 Response with your local MLAs and MPs.

I have attached two spreadsheets containing the summary contact details for all Northern Ireland MPs and local MLAs, including the Health Minister and Health Committee members, with contact details highlighted in yellow.

We will also be holding ‘Zoom’ update meetings with individual politicians and it would useful to include the viewpoint of  local contractors at these discussions. If this is something you would like to be involved in or if you require any additional information when engaging with local political representatives, please do not hesitate to contact your local CPNI Director or Jude Austin – CPNI Communications Manager, or any of the team in CPNI offices.

Local political interaction can be extremely influential, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support.

Yours sincerely
