Please find attached an
Expressions of Interest letter and a Service Contract to be completed by all
contractors wishing to provide a commissioned Flu Vaccination Service in 2020/21. Contractors offering to provide the service are
required to do so in line with the National Minimum Standards and Core
Curriculum for Immunisation Training, Flu Vaccination Service Specification and
have an appropriate standard operating procedure in place.
Contractors should note the tight timescale for responses, with signed contracts required to be returned by email by close of play Monday 24th August 2020.

Further Update to Serious Shortage Protocols: Fluoxetine 40mg Capsules
The
Department of Health has issued updated information (attached) on the Serious
Shortage Protocol (SSP) which was issued on 20 May 2020 in respect of
fluoxetine 40mg capsules.
Summary
The SSP was issued with an end date
of Monday 20 July 2020 and was extended until Monday 10 August 2020. There has
been a further extension granted until 4th September 2020. Details of the SSP are available on
the BSO website and can be accessed via this link:
(a) Brief their dispensing teams on the further extension of the SSP.
CPNI colleagues will continue to support
contractors on these matters.
