*** Registration closes on Wednesday 23rd September at 5pm ***
Dear Colleagues,
The first UK conference is being held for pharmacists to share learning and development through the COVID experience and will take place on
Thursday 24th September 2020
This is a digital event with contributions from community
pharmacists in Northern Ireland, including a presentation from CPNI.
The conference will review the findings of the report prepared
by MOIC relating particularly to the COVID-19 response of pharmacy in Northern
Ireland, but of much wider applicability. The MOIC report is the first national
summary of response and learning from the COVID-19 pandemic and we expect it to
contain useful lessons for all health economies.
Speakers will include Cathy Harrison DoH, Joe Brogan HSCB and
Gerard Greene CPNI.
Please share this with your pharmacy team(s) and anyone you feel
may be interested.
Yours sincerely

Dear Colleague,
Living Well Service: Future Campaign Schedule Changes 2020/2021
Please find attached HSCB letter regarding the Living Well
Service.
As a result of the current global COVID-19 situation, the original
2020/2021 living well campaign schedule has been postponed until further
notice. Instead, a new campaign has been developed in response to
supporting the public through the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new campaign to support COVID-19, known as “Looking after
your health and wellbeing during COVID-19”, is due to commence early October
2020. This campaign will focus on promoting various lifestyle and key public
health messages to help patients cope with the current COVID-19 pandemic. This
will include advice on curbing the spread of coronavirus, what to do if you
have symptoms, use of the StopCovid app, looking after your mental health and
the importance of the flu vaccine.
Pharmacies should expect the “Looking after your health and
wellbeing during COVID-19” resource pack to be delivered week commencing 5th
October 2020. Please start your campaign launch as soon as the campaign
resources are received. If you have not received your resource pack by
12th October 2020 please email reception.pha@hscni.net
and ensure your email subject heading is titled
“LIVING WELL PHARMACY CAMPAIGN”.
Please see attached letter for more information. If you have any
queries regarding Living Well please contact your local HSCB pharmacy advisor
or the CPNI office.
Yours sincerely
