Dear Colleague
Please find HERE correspondence from Kathryn Turner, Pharmacy Lead, HSCB.
Please note that due to an essential systems update VMS will be unavailable from Thursday 1 April 9pm until Friday 2nd April 8am.
Pharmacies will not be able to access the system during this period.
I would be grateful if you could also share this with your pharmacy team members.

Dear Colleague
Following the contractor meeting held on, Tuesday 30 March 2021, CPNI wrote to provide additional information regarding SimplyBook.Me (SBM) Vaccine Booking Systems (VBS).
As mentioned at the contractor meeting CPNI will be providing the URL’s to BSO/PHA shortly after mid-day today, Thursday 1 April 2021, for those pharmacies that have undertaken the steps listed HERE and detailed in the SBM VBS User Manual and who are ready for their pharmacy VBS platform to go-live to the public on the PHA/BSO interactive map.
Can I ask those contractors who wish to have their booking system details published on the BSO/PHA interactive map to advise Gareth Gilvary at CPNI offices via email (ggilvary@communitypharmacyni.co.uk) of your contractor number(s) and pharmacy name, so that CPNI can share the relevant URL details with BSO/PHA this afternoon. I ask that you confirm this with Gareth by 1PM TODAY, THURSDAY 1 APRIL 2021.
For those contractors that require additional time to complete the requisite steps CPNI will be liaising with BSO/PHA after the Easter holidays to undertake a follow-up URL upload.
CPNI will continue to provide you with resources and assistance in relation to the Community Pharmacy COIVID-19 Vaccination Service and the SBM VBS.
Please do not hesitate to contact CPNI offices should you require additional information or assistance.
Kind regards

Dear Colleague
Please find HERE for your attention, correspondence from Kathryn Turner, Pharmacy Lead, HSCB.
It is important to note that the Vaccine Management System (VMS) is now operational and that all vaccinations should be recorded on VMS from this point. Any vaccinations previously recorded using the paper vaccination record should be entered on VMS as soon as possible.

Dear Colleague
Please find HERE an important update regarding a change to eligible cohorts from Kathryn Turner Pharmacy Lead, HSCB.
Summary of Eligible Cohorts for the CPCVS (from 31 March 2021)
Individuals aged 45 years and over (born on or before 31March 1976)
Health and social care workers (aged 18 or over)
Clinically extremely vulnerable individuals (aged 18 years or over, must have shielding letter)
Please note that the community pharmacy service can no longer vaccinate individuals with underlying health conditions (aged 18 to 64) which put them at higher risk of disease or mortality unless they are eligible under an alternative cohort.
All community pharmacies are encouraged to have robust eligibility verification processes in place to ensure that only eligible patients receive a vaccination*. Proof of eligibility should be requested prior to vaccination, this is required by all COVID-19 vaccination providers.
While encouraging vaccination within eligible cohorts, please take every opportunity to reiterate this key message:
We would ask the public to be patient and only book an appointment if you fall within an eligible cohort, if you book an appointment and you are not eligible your appointment will be cancelled.
Should you require any further support please contact either your HSCB Local Office or CPNI Office for advice.
Kind regards
