  • Currently, pharmacy contractors must complete and submit one eForm for each individual transaction they make when supplying LFD test kit(s) to service users.

  • Contractors are asked to note the upcoming key dates:
    • 30 September 2021: This is the last day that contractors should complete and submit eForms for individual transactions.

Please note for this first submission only, 10 days of data will be submitted for transactions made on 1-10 October 2021. If any transactions made prior to or on 30 September miss the cut-off, please add these to this first 10 day submission.
    • Starting 18 October 2021, once-weekly submissions will be made each Monday for the preceding 7 days.
  • Please do not hesitate to contact local HSCB offices or CPNI should you require additional information or assistance.

Dear Colleague
I write to provide updated information to assist contractors and pharmacy team members using the SimplyBook.Me (SBM) Vaccine Booking Systems (VBS) for Vaccination Services.

An Updated User Guide has been produced to includes guidance on how to add new vaccine types (e.g., COVID-19 booster and flu vaccine) on the booking form. All Pharmacy staff involved in the set-up and on-going use of the SBM VBS for COVID-19 and Flu vaccination services should be familiar with the contents of the manual and the SBM VBS platform.

CPNI will continue to provide you with resources and assistance in relation to the Community Pharmacy COVID Vaccination Service and the SimplyBook.Me Vaccine Booking system.

Please do not hesitate to contact Simply Book Me or CPNI offices should you require additional information or assistance.

Dear Colleague
Please find attached HERE correspondence from Kathryn Turner, Pharmacy Lead Health and Social Care Board.

SUMMARY

  • The vaccination protocols for AstraZeneca and Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations within the Community Pharmacy Vaccination Service have been suspended as of 27 September 2021.
  • This is due to recent JCVI updates that have not been included in the current versions that are available for use thus making them outdated.
  • The PGDs for both vaccines are up to date and are available for use.

ACTION

Contractors are advised to:

  1. Review the attached correspondence.
  2. If you have been working under a vaccination protocol, please review your procedures in light of this suspension.
