CPNI’s vision is through effective negotiation and service development to deliver a stronger community pharmacy network, fully integrated into the health and social care system. Community pharmacists will assume a more proactive role as a front line provider, utilising their skills, experience and facilities to maximise health and well-being outcomes for the people of Northern Ireland.
CPNI will be a formative influence in the design, development and implementation of the extended role of the community pharmacist.
We will engage with all key stakeholders to make sure that the best possible outcomes are achieved.
On behalf of local pharmacy contractors, CPNI will facilitate negotiate on remuneration and terms of service with the Health and Social Care Board (HSCB) and the Department of Health Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS).
We will work to ensure that community pharmacy owners throughout Northern Ireland have the tools and resources they need to deliver their vital services to local people.
